Osinbajo Arrives Zambia, Recieves Warm Welcome (Photos)
Vice
President Yemi Osinbajo is in Zambia for the commissioning of a 1.5
million tonnes Dangote cement plant and 30 megawatts coal-fired power
plant.
Osinbajo arrived in Zambia yesterday, August 3.
According to a statement by his media aide, Mr Laolu Akande, Osinbajo will meet with the president of Zambia, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu and also pay a courtesy visit to the vice president, Inonge Wina, Leadership reports.
The vice president will return to Abuja later in the day after the commissioning.
The governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomole and some top Nigerian businessmen are also in Zambia for the commissioning.
The new state-of-the-art integrated Dangote cement plant in Zambia is
the sixth outside Nigeria. Others are in Senegal, Cameroon, Tanzania,
South Africa and Ethiopia.
