TWO KIDNAPPER(ADULT NAPPER) ARRESTED IN OSU STATE

Detectives from Osun State Police Command have arrested two kidnappers suspected to be terrorising the people of Osogbo, Osun State Capital.
The suspects; Ayo Sunday (26) and dare ojo (20) were arrested at their hideout at Imo in Ilesa, after the police successfully rescued their victim; Semowo Abayomi (35).
Osun State Police Commissioner, Alhaji Abubakar Marafa confirmed the incident through the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs. Folasade Odoro (DSP).
A Mazda 323 saloon car with registration number Bayelsa NEM 619GT, a pump action gun and a cutlass were recovered from the kidnappers.
The Police Commissioner disclosed that the victim was kidnapped on Saturday May 17th 2015 at a location near Osogbo Sports Stadium and was taken to an unknown location.
He explained that the wife of the victim, Semowo Adeola reported the incident to the police saying that they were together going to visit one Bamidele Ojo at Ilesa Garage, Osogbo when four masked men waylaid them and kidnapped her husband.
The CP maintained that immediately the policemen were alerted, the detectives swung into action while the kidnappers were demanding for a sum of N1.5million as ransom from their relations.
The Commissioner said that no ransom was paid to the kidnappers when the victims were rescued.
According to him, “We swung into action immediately when we received the information and we started trailing the suspects. We went to the hideout of the kidnappers and we dislodged them".
Meanwhile, the suspects have confessed to have kidnapped the victim. While speaking with our reporter, one of the suspects, Ayo Sunday noted that the victim was introduced to them by one Alowonle now at large.
The CP said that full investigation had commenced into the matter, adding that the law would be allowed to take its full course
